Warranty Policy
Last Updated: July 10, 2026
Our 30-day return window covers most concerns right after delivery β but what about a genuine manufacturing defect that shows up a little later, after normal use has begun? That's what this page is for. Here's how warranty coverage works at Lumenvel, separate from (and in addition to) your standard return rights.
1. How This Differs From Our Return Policy
It's worth being clear about the difference upfront, since the two get confused often:
- Our Return & Refund Policy covers the first 30 days after delivery β damaged, defective, wrong, or simply not-what-you-wanted items.
- This Warranty Policy covers genuine manufacturing defects that appear after that 30-day window, during a product's normal, intended use.
If your item just arrived and something's wrong with it, you don't need this page β head straight to our Return & Refund Policy instead. This page is specifically for defects that surface later.
2. What's Covered
A warranty claim generally applies when a product fails to function as intended because of a genuine manufacturing or material defect β not because of accidental damage, misuse, or ordinary wear.
Examples of what typically qualifies:
- A structural or functional flaw present in the product from the start, even if it wasn't obvious until normal use began
- A component that fails well before it reasonably should, under normal and intended use
- A material or workmanship issue not caused by the way the product was used or cared for
3. What's Not Covered
To keep this honest and specific, warranty coverage generally does not include:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use over time
- Damage from drops, impacts, or accidents
- Damage from improper cleaning, harsh chemicals, or a dishwasher/microwave/oven cycle the product wasn't rated for
- Use outside the product's intended purpose
- Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications
- Cosmetic changes (like minor discoloration) that don't affect how the product functions
- Products purchased from a seller other than Lumenvel directly
4. Product-Specific Coverage
Warranty terms can vary by product β a cast-iron pan and a set of drinking glasses aren't going to carry identical coverage, for obvious reasons. When a specific product includes warranty coverage beyond what's described here (whether from Lumenvel or the manufacturer), that will be clearly noted on the product page or included with the item's packaging and documentation.
If a product page doesn't mention a specific warranty term, this general policy still applies as your baseline protection against genuine manufacturing defects.
5. How to File a Warranty Claim
Reach out to us with the following:
- Your order number (or approximate purchase date if you no longer have it)
- A clear description of what's gone wrong
- Photos or a short video showing the issue
- How the product has been used and cared for
Email: customersupport@lumenvel.com
Phone: +1 (707) 220-3740
Live Chat: Available on our website
We'll review what you send us and let you know the next step β sometimes that's a quick troubleshooting suggestion, sometimes it's approval for a replacement or repair.
6. What Happens if a Claim Is Approved
Depending on the product and the nature of the defect, an approved warranty claim may result in:
- A replacement of the same or a comparable product, if available
- A repair, where practical
- A refund, if a replacement isn't a reasonable option
We'll walk you through which of these applies to your specific situation once we've reviewed your claim β it depends on the product, the defect, and what's genuinely available to us at the time.
7. Proof of Purchase
Hang onto your order confirmation email or receipt β it's the easiest way for us to verify your purchase date and confirm the product falls within an applicable warranty period. If you've lost it, don't worry; we can often locate the order using your name and the email address you used at checkout.
8. Return Shipping for Warranty Claims
If we need the product back to evaluate or process a warranty claim, and the defect is confirmed as covered, we'll provide instructions and cover reasonable return shipping β you shouldn't be out of pocket for sending back a genuinely defective item.
9. This Doesn't Replace Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits any right you have under U.S. federal or state consumer protection law, including implied warranties or protections that can't legally be waived. Where the law provides more protection than what's described here, the law applies.
